L'Alouette III di VARIO è un elicottero di dimensioni 1150. È possibile alimentare questo modello con propulsione a turbina. Sud Aviation (successivamente Aérospatiale) è il creatore della versione full scale.Questo modello è un elicottero impressionante, grazie alle sue enormi dimensioni è stato progettato solo per la meccanica delle turbine. Per il trasporto, l'intera coda è rimovibile. La meccanica è posizionata all'indietro in modo da poter installare un abitacolo in scala. Il peso del decollo del modello è considerevolmente più alto di quello del Lama e ciò ha reso necessario un nuovo leveraggio della testa del rotore per il sistema meccanico consigliato, un rotore di coda di diametro maggiore e un'estensione del sistema dell'albero del rotore di coda.Per VARIO 1150 Alouette III raccomandiamo una velocità massima del rotore principale di 850 giri / min.Disponibile per:Meccanica a turbina 1002/66Per turbina Jakadofsky Pro 5000, campana frizione t. 24Il kit di fusoliera Alouette III per la meccanica Ord.No. 1002/66 può essere ordinato con Ord.No. 3500. Kit Ord.No. 3501 include già questa meccanica.La versione a turbina affascina con l'odore del cherosene, un rotore che si avvia dolcemente, accompagnato dal suono inconfondibile di una turbina. Fino alla rivoluzione elettrica nella costruzione del modello radiocontrollato, le turbine erano le unità più potenti. In termini di tempi di volo, le turbine sono ancora superiori all'elettro-volo.
