Ventilation slots, GRP

The dome fairings of the Bell 205 UH-1D feature vertical ventilation slots.
On full-size machines these kinds of aerodynamically formed air intake fairings are generally made of metal, and provide the airflow required for starter generators and the engine / turbine compartment.

To give your model a true scale appearance, simply glue these GRP ventilation slots to the fuselage in the appropriate position before painting the model; we recommend UHU plus as adhesive.
