Die "große Schweizer 300C" von VARIO ist ein Scale Heli in der 1000er Größe. Sie können den ferngesteuerten Modellhubschrauber mit Benzin oder Elektro Antrieb fliegen. Hughes Helicopters ist Urheber der manntragenden Version und vergab später Lizenzen an Schweizer Aircraft Corporation. Der Helikopter behielt seinen Namen auch nach dem Verkauf der Firma Schweizer an Sikorsky in 2009.

Für die 1000 er Hughes 300 von VARIO empfehlen wir eine Systemdrehzahl von circa 900 U/min. Elektro-Antriebssets von VARIO sind bereits darauf abgestimmt.
