The scale accessories with door steps contains entrance steps as well as maintenance steps.
Bulges on full-size helicopters serve as "climb assistance" to reach top covers and the rotor head.
For the installation on model helicopters these steps are approx. 6 mm deep and 15 or 20 mm wide. The assembly is quite easy, because they just have to be glued into the prepared openings.
Depending on the type and access details of the helicopter the steps are of different designs and locations.
