If you fit a large stabiliser to your trainer there is no need for a tail skid. This stabiliser provides the tail rotor blades with enough ground clearance, and offers good flight stability at low airspeeds. GRP tuned pipe holders are used to secure the tuned pipe to the tail booms. They are easy to clamp in place.
