The freewheel disc is positioned on the spigot of the main rotor shaft, with the inner flange in contact with the inner ring of the ballrace in the main gearbox.
If you install a driven tail rotor for auto-rotation, a second disc is fitted at the underside of the gearbox, to prevent friction of the rotating parts against the outer ring of the ballrace.
