Review(s): 0

Ballraces are used wherever moving parts are required to run with a minimum of play and a minimum of friction. The more ballraces are used, the more smoothly the mechanics of a helicopter works, and the lower the rate of wear. The dimensions of a ballrace mean: inside diameter (I.D.) x outside diameter (O.D.) x thickness. For flanged bearings the same...

Rotor head petrol mechanics 12 mm

1005/61
Rating

Because of the high established demand on a rotor head being used in a mechanics driven by a petrol engine, the equipment is quite different from other rotor heads.
Here flybars with 5 mm Ø are used, and the ball collets, the control bridge and the ballraces are applicable for this dimension. The aluminium centre piece accounts for the necessary precision of the teetering of the thrust bearing shaft.
Rotor head for petrol mechanics, for 12 mm Ø rotor shaft.

Caution
It is not permissible to use this rotor head on a mechanical system powered by a turbine. The only rotor head with 14 mm blade holders which can be used with turbine power is Ord.No. 1005/62.
