Flanged ballrace 6 x 10 x 3 mm

Review(s): 0

Ballraces are used wherever moving parts are required to run with a minimum of play and a minimum of friction. The more ballraces are used, the more smoothly the mechanics of a helicopter works, and the lower the rate of wear. The dimensions of a ballrace mean: inside diameter (I.D.) x outside diameter (O.D.) x thickness. For flanged bearings the same...

Description

This conversion set was originally developed for the Robinson R22 and Jet Ranger, but since then it has proved to be useful for a number of other large-scale models. Please note that the matching rotor hub is not included in the conversion set, and must be ordered separately if you need it; you can continue to use the existing hub from the rotor head, Ord. No. 722/72, and this works perfectly. You therefore only need to consider replacing the hub if you need the system to look "just right".A swashplate driver is also required instead of the collective pitch compensator previously employed. You will need to shorten the pushrods from the swashplate to the blade holders to suit.Be aware that the swashplate linkage is also modified, e.g. the swashplate tilts to the left for forward flight.Rigid conversion setexcl. hub

Rotor head petrol mechanics 12 mm

Review(s): 0

Because of the high established demand on a rotor head being used in a mechanics driven by a petrol engine, the equipment is quite different from other rotor heads. Here flybars with 5 mm Ø are used, and the ball collets, the control bridge and the ballraces are applicable for this dimension. The aluminium centre piece accounts for the necessary precision...

4-blade rotor head 10 mm

Rotor heads with three or more rotor blades really deserve their own chapter in any discussion of model helicopters; speculation is always in the air at such times, because sooner or later most...

Semi scale rotor head

Review(s): 0

This semi-scale rotor head includes additional mixing of the blade holder actuator linkage at a ratio of 2 : 1. This results in well-balanced flying characteristics, and the model has a damped rather than direct response to your control inputs (resembling a 2-blade head with flybar).Use only the suggested rotor blades for flybar-less rotor heads,...

Rotor head for Bell 212Ord.No. 1005/12

Review(s): 0

The basic method of operation of the turbine-powered Bell 212's rotor head is the same as that of the Bell 47 G III rotor head. The main difference is that the components have been modified to match the appearance of the Bell 212, and are therefore of different design. For example, a separate swashplate driver is not required, as it is integrated into the...

Bell 47 G rotor head

Review(s): 0

This rotor head was modelled as closely as possible on the original version installed on the Bell 47 G full-size helicopter. It is an excellent choice for use on the Bell 47 G III model, Ord. No. 4700.The centrifugal weights and springs are dummies, and do not work. The rotor blade swivel limits are also imitations, and have no function. The blade grips...
