The Alouette III from VARIO is a 1150 size scale helicopter. You can power this remote-controlled model helicopter with turbine propulsion. Sud Aviation (later Aérospatiale) is the creator of the man-carrying version.This model is an impressive helicopter, due to its enormous size it is designed for turbine mechanics only. For transport, the entire tail is removable. A ready-built mechanics support frame is included. The mechanics support is set rearward so a full scale cockpit interior can be fitted. The model's take-off weight is considerably higher than that of the Lama, and this has necessitated a new rotor head linkage for the recommended mechanical system, a larger-diameter tail rotor and an extension of the tail rotor shaft system.For VARIO's 1150 Alouette III we recommend a maximum main rotor speed of 850 rpm.Available for:
