Flanged ballrace 6 x 10 x 3 mm

Review(s): 0

Ballraces are used wherever moving parts are required to run with a minimum of play and a minimum of friction. The more ballraces are used, the more smoothly the mechanics of a helicopter works, and the lower the rate of wear. The dimensions of a ballrace mean: inside diameter (I.D.) x outside diameter (O.D.) x thickness. For flanged bearings the same...

Description

The Flash features a highly streamlined fuselage, making it ideal for high-speed flying and competition work. You can complete your Flash with Sky Fox mechanics, or the mechanics from your Sky Fox series trainer, which will fit inside complete with front RC structure; the only extras you need are a set of mechanics brackets, Ord.No. 4/5.The tail drive system is ballraced, and for ease of construction the kit is supplied complete with a 20 mm Ø tail boom, which is installed instead of the standard tail boom used on trainer helicopters. The tail rotor control system (between servo and tail rotor bellcrank) can be left unchanged, provided that your existing one employs a carbon fibre shaft. If yours is based on a steel rod shaft, it can be installed in the tubular bush supplied in the kit.To ensure that the total building time is as short as possible, the kit is supplied complete with a large-area decal sheet. After cutting out the individual decals, you can avoid trapped air bubbles by dipping each decal in water (with a few drops of washing-up liquid added) before positioning on the model. The adhesive surface is now wet, and the decal can be slid into position easily on the surface of the fuselage. As soon as it is located correctly, hold the decal in the middle and rub it down using a soft cloth. This action pushes the water out, and the decal will then stick firmly. The model is supplied in kit-form, i.e. not assembled.
