Durante muchos años, la BK 117 de Eurocopter ha clasificado como uno de los clásicos del mundo helicóptero. El tipo ya está disponible a nosotros en forma de modelo, junto con muchos accesorios, lo que tiene un diámetro relativamente pequeño rotor de 1.600 mm, y es adecuado para Sky Fox o la mecánica de gasolina. Sin embargo, un modelo más grande se llama a si quieres una turbina versión con motor, y esta máquina tiene un diámetro de rotor de 2.100 mm. El espacio de la cabina hacia adelante puede ser instalado por completo, y en muchos otros aspectos, los fans de escala tienen un montón de espacio para funciones adicionales de detalle: puertas laterales laborables - articulada o deslizante - puede ser instalado y puertas traseras funcionales también son posibles. Si lo desea, puede incluso adaptarse a una grúa de trabajo que puede ser controlado desde el transmisor RC. El rotor principal de cuatro palas requiere mucha potencia servo y los servos de cabeza del rotor debe tener suficiente torque y fuerza de sujeción para un control adecuado. Si prefiere usar diferentes tipos de servo, por favor asegúrese de que sus especificaciones son adecuados - en la práctica, así como en papel - como algunos tipos sólo pueden ofrecer su máximo rendimiento durante breves períodos de funcionamiento (overheating!). En circunstancias desfavorables tales servos pueden dar a los pilotos serias dificultades en el control de la cabeza del rotor.
