El Robinson R22 es el primer helicóptero a escala VARIO en el tamaño 600 con propulsión eléctrica. Der neue Heckrotor ist mit seinen Kunststoff-Zahnrädern einfach zu justieren und wird starr angetrieben. Er ist optimal zugänglich für Pre-flight check und Wartung.
Elektromotoren sind leise, vibrationsarm, ohne Abgase und Restschub. Das Schlagen der Rotorblätter ist deutlicher wahrzunehmen als bei anderen Antriebsarten und es entsteht ein vorbildgetreuer Eindruck im Flug. Für diese Elektro-Mechanik in Kombination mit diesem Modell bietet VARIO ein Antriebsset für 6S LiPos.
