The tail pipe of the tuned pipe should be covered with silicone hose (Ord.No. 116/8), or with one of the tail pipes (Ord.No. 116/0 or 116/9), so that the heat of the pipe does not damage the holder.

the inner ring of a ballrace (in roll-axis levers, mixer cranks etc.) must be free to rotate. are used to provide clearance where necessary. Shim washers are also used to compensate for excessive clearance which may result when tolerances accumulate.
