Any turbine-powered model has to carry a very large quantity of fuel, and this in turn calls for a fuel station of ample volume.The VARIO filler station has a capacity of 10 litres and is ideal for flying sessions.The fueltank is filled and drained using a practical geared pump, which is permanently mounted on the fuel container.

Kerosene refuelling system

The kerosene refuelling system is sealed with a rubber nipple. The constant low pressure inside the tank draws the nipple firmly against the refuelling opening. That is also the reason why a mechanism such as a spring-controlled valve is not suitable, because the low pressure tends to push the spring back as spring tension diminishes.
