Wind sock

22/30
Rating

Who knows which way the wind is blowing?
One look at the wind sock and the argument is settled.
The wind - in reality an airstream whose primary component is horizontal - can take you by surprise with its quick changes of direction. At other times it may just be gusty.
If you are flying aerobatics, it is important to keep a weather eye open for wind direction, not least when the time comes to land. Landing approaches should always be flown into wind, and planting the wind sock close to the landing site should ensure that you land safely into wind every time.
Wind sock, with ballraced peg, supplied without mast, length approx 90 cm, dia at wide end approx 20 cm

Transport wheels for large models

Recensioni: 0

The transport frames, Ord. No. 144 and 145, have proved excellent for moving large, heavy model helicopters around. However, wider wheels make them much more pleasant to use over certain types of terrain, and especially when the ground is wet.
