Die "große Hughes 500D" von VARIO ist ein Scale Heli in der 850er Größe. Sie können den ferngesteuerten Modellhubschrauber mit Benzin, Turbine oder Elektro Antrieb fliegen. Hughes Helicopters ist Urheber der manntragenden Version und das Boeing Tochterunternehmen McDonnell Douglas stellt diesen Helikopter bis heute her. Die Hughes 500E hat eine spitze Nase und ein T-Leitwerk – die D-Version unterscheidet sich durch eine abgerundete Kanzel.

Für die 850 er Hughes 500D von VARIO empfehlen wir eine Systemdrehzahl von max. 1000 U/min. Elektro-Antriebssets von VARIO sind bereits darauf abgestimmt.
