Flanged ballrace 6 x 10 x 3 mm

Review(s): 0

Ballraces are used wherever moving parts are required to run with a minimum of play and a minimum of friction. The more ballraces are used, the more smoothly the mechanics of a helicopter works, and the lower the rate of wear. The dimensions of a ballrace mean: inside diameter (I.D.) x outside diameter (O.D.) x thickness. For flanged bearings the same...

Description

The biggest Airwolf from VARIO is a 1050 size scale helicopter. You can power this remote-controlled model helicopter with turbine or electric propulsion. The film helicopter (Bell 222 with lateral fuselage widening) is an invention of Universal Television and Belisarius Productions. The myth of legendary performance potential surrounds him as much as the legends of his film history. Everyone secretly dreams of spectacular flights with an AIRWOLF. There are no limits to your imagination when building this model! The model incorporates GRP technology which substantially shortens the required building time. The 2.5 l fueltank - itself a GRP moulding - doubles up as a support for the undercarriage. The retractable undercarriage is mounted on the transverse member below the tank. The supports in the fuselage for the mechanical system are also based on a GRP sub-structure.For VARIO's 1050 Airwolf we recommend a main rotor speed of approx. 960 rpm. Electric drive sets from VARIO are already tuned to this head speed.Select one of the following drive types:Turbine Mechanics 1002/67left hand rotation (true to scale)For turbine Jakadofsky Pro 5000, clutch bell 2 blade: t. 27The Airwolf fuselage kit for the Pro 5000 turbine can be ordered with Ord.No. 2004.The turbine version fascinates by the smell of kerosene, a gently starting rotor, accompanied by the unmistakable sound of a turbine. Until the electrical power revolution in radio controlled model construction, turbines were the most powerful drives. In terms of flight times, turbines are still superior to electro-flight.Turbine Mechanics JetCat PHT3-L (mechanics and turbine)left hand rotation (true to scale)gear ratio: 95.62:1turbine speed: 92,000 rpmrotor speed: 962 rpmPlease order with suitable rotor shaft Ord.No. 35/52.information and supply www.heli-factory.comThe Airwolf fuselage kit for JetCat PHT3-L can be ordered with Ord.No. 2004.The turbine version fascinates by the smell of kerosene, a gently starting rotor, accompanied by the unmistakable sound of a turbine. Until the electrical power revolution in radio controlled model construction, turbines were the most powerful drives. In terms of flight times, turbines are still superior to electro-flight.Electric Mechanics 1002/77Our propulsion recommendation for this helicopter! Contemporary mechanics, especially designed for the scale model electric flight. The mounting points in the fuselage are identical to those of the turbine mechanics Ord.No. 1002/67. Therefore, the mechanics can be used in almost all kits that also fit these VARIO turbine mechanics with lower turbine position (in this case Ord.No. 2004). Electric motors are quiet, low in vibration, without exhaust gases and residual thrust. The blade slap noise sound of the rotor blades is more noticeable than with other types of propulsion and the result is a true-to-life impression in flight. For this electromechanical system we offer a drive set for 12S LiPos.

Kerosene refuelling system

Review(s): 0

The kerosene refuelling system is sealed with a rubber nipple. The constant low pressure inside the tank draws the nipple firmly against the refuelling opening. That is also the reason why a mechanism such as a spring-controlled valve is not suitable, because the low pressure tends to push the spring back as spring tension diminishes.
