The Mil Mi-2 from VARIO is a 1150 size scale helicopter. You can power this remote-controlled model helicopter with turbine propulsion. Mil / WSK Świdnik is the creator of the man-carrying version. Mikhail Mil Leontyevich worked for 18 years with rotary-wing aircraft and helicopters before he founded Mil helicopters in 1947 in Moscow. Since the start of the company, Mil has developed more than 20 different helicopters with more than 200 variants. Our model of the Mil-2 is powered by the SPH5 turbine from JetCat and has an impressive 2.5 m rotor diameter. For ease of transport the tail boom can be removed after disconnecting the tail rotor servo and undoing a central screwed joint.
For VARIO's 1150 Mil Mi2 we recommend a main rotor speed of approx. 850 rpm.
