Recensioni: 0

Ballraces are used wherever moving parts are required to run with a minimum of play and a minimum of friction. The more ballraces are used, the more smoothly the mechanics of a helicopter works, and the lower the rate of wear. The dimensions of a ballrace mean: inside diameter (I.D.) x outside diameter (O.D.) x thickness. For flanged bearings the same...

Tail rotor flange

8/3
Valutazione

The GRP tail rotor flange is used in full-fuselage helicopters such as the Jet Ranger, Bell 222 etc. to attach the tail rotor to the tail boom.
The flange is supplied oversized, so that it can be fitted in all fuselages. Simply trim it to match the inside shape of the tail end of the fuselage, then glue it in place using Poxan-622 or UHU-Plus, and fitted with screws where necessary. Use an M 3 tap (Order No. 11/78) to cut a thread in the flange to take the tail rotor retaining screws.

Rotor blade tie-down large

Review(s): 0

The rotor blade harness ranks as an essential accessory for full-size helicopters. These items prevent the blades swinging or rocking, and thereby exerting pressure on the rotor shaft. If that were to be allowed, in-flight failures could be attributed to it.Rotor blades set in motion by rising winds could also be damaged by striking obstacles. The rotor...
