The canopy retainer set helps to keep your canopies undamaged for a long period. It absorbs movement, such as abrupt shocks in hard landings, and prevents cracks developing in the canopy.Knurled nuts are used to hold the canopy in place, and they do not intent the canopy when tightened. The components of the canopy retainer system are screwed against...
Mixer levers are an essential part of every flybar-controlled rotor head. From the swashplate a pushrod runs to the ballraced mixer arm which is screwed to the blade holder arm. The mixer levers transmit the control movement to the flybar via the double ball-link.
Additionial accessories for the use of mixer levers are either two flanged ballraces or two flanged bushes from Delrin as a low cost alternative.
The screwing on the blade holder arm complies with the kind of hole, i.e. it depends on the through hole or on the blind hole.
Please note for choosing the screws: blade holder 76/15 = socket-head cap screw 90075, blade holder 76/13 = socket-head cap screw 90085 with self-locking nut 90530.

The length of the flybar itself also plays an important role in the model's flight characteristics: the longer the flybar, the smoother the hover. A longer flybar increases the control deflections. 450 mm length is considered normal, while 510 mm provides more docile handling.

In the world of full-size helicopters the Delta effect is universally acknowledged. For model helicopter rotors we have emulated the effect as closely as possible. As soon as a rotor blade is pushed out of its path by some external influence (thermal, down draught etc.) the opposite blade counters the movement and thereby subdues the rotor disc.Conversion...
