The Chinook from VARIO is a 700 size scale helicopter. You can power this remote-controlled model helicopter with electric propulsion. Boeing-Vertol is the creator of the man-carrying version and produces this helicopter. Building a tandem has its own charm and its own set of challenges. This kit and the specially developed equipment has been extensively tested before its launch. It is necessary for a tandem rotor to have a strong rigid construction which ensures the success of this model project. To ensure the success of this project, VARIO sells the fuselage kit including the mechanics. For safety reasons, it is compulsory to mount the specific VARIO tandem rotor heads. For the summer of 2016 VARIO have given the Chinook fuselage a total face lift. The new fuselage is now the same GRP quality as other fuselages produced since 2014. The fuselage has more external detail especially around the upper domes and transmission tunnel. All fuselage moldings including the doors have been completely revised and to further complement the new fuselage a set of smart bubble windows are now included. Like the full size you can equip the Chinook with contra rotating dome covers. For VARIO's 700 Boeing-Vertol CH-47 we recommend a main rotor speed of approx. 1150 rpm. Here you find the software setup for the Bavarian Demon. Caution! Take care of the servo direction and mounting orientation of the sensor box which need individual setup according to your model.Available for:Tandem Electric Mechanics 480/22 included in fuselageOur propulsion recommendation for this helicopter (Ord.No. 4800)! Contemporary mechanics, especially designed for the scale model electric flight. Electric motors are quiet, low in vibration, without exhaust gases and residual thrust. The blade slap noise sound of the rotor blades is more noticeable than with other types of propulsion and the result is a true-to-life impression in flight. For this electromechanical system we offer drive components for 12S LiPos.
