Flanged ballrace 6 x 10 x 3 mm

Commentaire(s): 0

Ballraces are used wherever moving parts are required to run with a minimum of play and a minimum of friction. The more ballraces are used, the more smoothly the mechanics of a helicopter works, and the lower the rate of wear. The dimensions of a ballrace mean: inside diameter (I.D.) x outside diameter (O.D.) x thickness. For flanged bearings the same...

Note

The linkage of the tail rotor is affected by the face clearance of servo gears, by the bellcrank and by the pushrod. Minimal play can arise from the face clearance of the servo gears as well as from the necessary freedom of movement for the ball at the bellcrank.
With the screw fitting pushrod connector the pushrod still is adjusted without play. The face clearance of the servo and the ball movement on the bellcrank can not and may not suppressed direct.
Remaining play is balanced by the return spring, if it is installed between tail rotor hub and control bridge. The spring force is dimensioned so that the force of the servo exceeds it, but the control bridge is held play free at the same time.

The forces generated by the tail rotor rise significantly with large, heavy model helicopters; larger tail rotor blades also have the same effect. This reinforced aluminium tail rotor bellcrank is the item of choice wherever high control power is required, as it prevents the lever twisting.Reinforced tail rotor bellcrank, complete with screw fixings

Calettatore di passo per rotore di coda

The tail rotor blade pitch gauge is the perfect tool for setting pitch angles really accurately; the pitch range should be plus / minus 12°. The gauge can be used to set up any blade with a chord between 21 and 42 mm. It can also be employed for measuring pushrods and similar items up to a length of 110 mm.
