En 2004 VARIO Helicopter celebró su 30 º aniversario, y coincide con el 30 aniversario de uno de los helicópteros de tamaño completo más populares de todos los tiempos,. Un equipo que ha ganado un lugar seguro en la historia de las aeronaves de alas giratorias El de tamaño completo Hughes 500 D primero vio la luz del día en 1974, y en agosto de ese año el primer prototipo ya estaba volando. En forma de modelo de este impresionante Hughes 500 D está diseñado para adaptarse a cualquiera de los tres sistemas mecánicos diferentes, la longitud de la lámina variando con la instalación. El conjunto de cuchilla para un diámetro de rotor de 1880 mm sólo se puede utilizar en conjunción con VR-22 mecánica. El VR-22 cuenta con un sistema mecánico mm Ø cola eje del rotor 6. El mismo sistema de accionamiento del rotor de cola (Orden N º 1003/80) también debe ser usado en conjunción con PHT3 mecánica. Los accesorios esenciales para el VR-22 y PHT3 mecánica incluyen un mm Ø eje del rotor 12, como se generan fuerzas superiores con estos dos sistemas que con la mecánica de gasolina, en los que un mm Ø eje del rotor 10 es adecuada.
