In the world of full-size helicopters the Delta effect is universally acknowledged. For model helicopter rotors we have emulated the effect as closely as possible.
As soon as a rotor blade is pushed out of its path by some external influence (thermal, down draught etc.) the opposite blade counters the movement and thereby subdues the rotor disc.
