Circlip pliers

11/27
Rating

Installing and removing the circlip on the main rotor shaft, these circlip pliers do the job and will not damage the circlip. The prongs of the pliers fit exactly in the holes in the circlip and open it evenly, without over-stressing it, so that it can safely be re-used. If you use other tools such as screwdrivers etc. the circlip is easily damaged or over-stressed, and even though it may still fit in the groove of the rotor shaft it may slide upwards while the model is in the air. This in turn causes damage to the internal-tooth gear, because it loses its correct position relative to the pinion shaft.
